Seven years have passed since the chance of becoming a millionair was snatched from me, for a time I faught ill health that came to me once again.
But I overcame my disability and started the long road to recovery during my
Convalescence and even managed to write thus I entered the world of the author I wrote spy thrillers children’s books and local history books only the two main local history books were published. They are now sitting on library shelves and one was sold to an American library, Some little success but not a lot of money did I make.
By 2006 I had fully recovered my health I had gone back to school and was fortunate to get A levels in IT and business use of Microsoft office suite no mean achievement for a man past sixty five and having gone to a local school in my boy hood that was satisfied if you could just read count and write.
I was offered in 2006 the chance to set up an office and to put in place the systems of sales purchasing and accounting, here was a challenge I had been looking for it took me nine months to get it up and running with no problems I often worked a fourteen hour day sorting out the gliches and inventing new systems of record keeping based on Excell. In 2007 I had to oversee a move to new premises I had few problems, then I had to organise a system for the company vehicles then also tackle health and safety
Law but here I was fortunate for some years back I had been trained as a safety representative in the local steelworks this now stood me in good stead.
I continue to be employed as office manager but my main occupation is devising systems to help with the bookkeeping side I am also a buyer for the company what about my retirement what retirement?
